CUCF Release and Transfer Paths
Central Utah Correctional Facility is a state prison. The Utah Board of Pardons and Parole may set parole, rehearing, further review, sentence expiration, or another result within its authority. Once UDC jurisdiction ends, a person may disappear from the current public search. For a historic state record, use the correct UDC records route or the Board's contact and GRAMA process. CUCF and Sevier Releases
CUCF does not become a Sevier County facility because a person lived in Sevier or has a Sevier court case. The prison record remains with UDC and the Board. After parole, AP&P handles supervision. Utah's prison sentences are generally indeterminate. Under section 77-18-111, the court imposes a statutory minimum-to-maximum range, and the Board can act within that framework. Sevier Mixed Custody Boundary

CUCF Parole Release Supervision

A Board termination or maximum expiration is different from parole. Those events end state authority more fully, while parole conditions can continue until the sentence terminates or expires.
